Durable, easy to clean and attractive, hardwood and parquet is the flooring of choice for many homeowners. However, for some projects, budget limitations may mean it is not an option. Additionally, in projects where water based underfloor heating is installed, the depth of wood floor may raise the floor levels to an unacceptable level, making it unsuitable for installation. Luxury Vinyl Tiles, which come in a range of designs, however, provide the same attractive aesthetic, whilst also being easy to install, durable and cost effective.
Simon Peers of Barratt & Hughes Flooring Specialists Ltd. was asked to recommend a floor covering for a domestic bungalow in Warrington. Using a customer brief, Barratt & Hughes Flooring Specialists identified the needs of the end users and presented the homeowners with a selection of floor coverings to choose from. Having attended the launch of CFS Eternity Parquet LVT, the product was amongst the shortlisted coverings.
CFS Eternity Classic LVT is available in a wide range of designs, from wood to stone effect, ensuring all projects are catered for style wise. Different styles of tiles can be interchanged within the same project, creating a unique design, specific for each project. After requesting large sample tiles to show the homeowner, Barratt & Hughes was able to demonstrate the quality, style and colour of the product, enabling all parties to make an informed decision, and CFS Eternity Parquet LVT in Ivory Washed Oak was selected to be installed.
The product was installed due to its ability to be easily cleaned and maintained, perfect for a domestic setting, particularly in kitchens where spills are commonplace. LVT is also water resistant, meaning if a large spill takes place, water will not penetrate the covering through to the floor beneath. Moreover, CFS Eternity Parquet LVT has a 0.3mm wear layer and an extra PU coating, providing extra protection for homeowners, meaning the chosen flooring stays in perfect condition for longer. Being fitted in the kitchen and hallway of the property, the floor covering had to be installed around an island, something LVT lends itself to.
CFS Stockists, Carpet & Flooring also supplied screeds, adhesives and trims for the project. With the floor covering and associated accessories sourced from one supplier, the job was quick and simple to complete. CFS also offers customer support, before, during and after the installation of any products, ensuring the perfect solution is specified for every project.
Thanks to the installation expertise of Barratt & Hughes, and the wide selection of products and designs available from CFS, the property benefitted from a high-quality floor covering, that complement the interior design of the property perfectly.
